He broke Mel Ott's major league record for the most games played in the major leagues by the age of 20. He was a first ballot inductee in the Hall of Fame in 1999, and his #19 has been retired by the Brewers. Robin retired with a lifetime .285 average and 3142 hits, which ranks 18th all time. He played in 2856 major league games, and he racked up 251 home runs and 1406 RBI's. He has been a coach with the Diamondbacks and the Brewers since he retired.
