Baron Davis Charlotte Hornets Autographed May 21, 2001 Sports Illustrated Magazine. The magazine has a printed mailing label and is in excellent condition, with mild creasing on the front cover. The cover is signed with a large signature in blue Sharpie. The cover article is an inside look at Baron and his Charlotte teammates, as they battle in the second round of the NBA playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks. Other articles involve Julie Krone, deaths at soccer matches, XFL players in the NFL, high school athletes and family vacations, Bobby Holik, Chris Drury, Larry Bowa and the Phillies, Shaq and Kobe and the Lakers, the Spurs guards, Pete Sampras and Tim Gullickson, Felix Trinidad, Rich Garces, high school and college basketball players leaving school early for the NBA, and JD Drew. Baron was the Gatorade high school Player of the Year in 1997, and he was a college All American at UCLA. He has played in 835 NBA games over 13 seasons from 1999-2012 with the Hornets, Warriors, Clippers, Cavaliers and Knicks. There has been talk of him coming back to play in the NBA for the 2015-16 season, but he has not played since sustaining a severe right knee injury during the 2012 NBA playoffs. He made the All Star team on two separate occasions. To this point in his career, he has scored 13447 points for a 16.1 points per game scoring average. He has also collected 6025 assists (33rd on the all-time list), 3183 rebounds, and 1530 steals.
